Hey, sorry this is completely out of nowhere and months after the fact. I'm living in Tokyo now and I really need to get my wisdom teeth taken out. When I ran a search on the net to try and get an idea of other people's experiences (and the general price range), your blog was one of the results. You sounded like you had such a good experience that I was wondering if you remembered which practice you had gone to. I've had enough bad experiences with dentists that I'd love to get one who actually knows what he's doing this time around. Thanks, yeah?

I've never tried general anesthesia before. All I've ever experienced is the numbing effects of local anesthesia, which was exactly how my dentist explained it would feel. He just swabbed some cream onto my gums, and in a few seconds, it started to numb in that area. It's cool, isn't it? I wonder if any of my neighbors here in St. Petersburg have experienced sedation.
